Coaches get automatic 24-hour and 4-hour reminders via push notification and email, and can share event invites to WhatsApp, text, or any messenger. RosterPro supports soccer, baseball, basketball, cricket, and more. Always free for coaches.

The Backstory
Why every kid deserves a fair game
I'm Hema — a dad, a volunteer soccer coach in Apex, NC, and building AI apps and AI agentic products is my passion. Last season, my U-10 team went up against the best team in the league. A team that had been winning 7-0, 8-0 all season. But that day, my kids came out fired up. They scored first. They were passing, communicating, fighting for every ball. For the first time all season, we belonged on the same field.
Then, five minutes into the second half, I heard both benches buzzing. Their star player had arrived late. Nearly six feet tall, incredibly athletic, operating on a completely different physical level. He scored four goals in fifteen minutes. Game over. My kids tried their hearts out — they just got handed a game they were never going to win.
But the problem wasn't that kid. He deserves to play just like everyone else. The problem was structural. Too many kids on the losing side of a lopsided season never come back. That's the part we're working on — and we'll have more to share soon.
RosterPro starts with the things coaches actually need on any given Saturday — scheduling, RSVP, parent messaging via magic links — and earns its place on your sideline first. The deeper work is coming next, and we're building it with leagues, not for them. If you run a rec league and this resonates, reach out.
The app icon? My son designed it. This is built for families, by a family. Because every kid who shows up on a Saturday morning deserves a fair game.
Common questions
Do parents need to download an app?
No. Parents receive a magic link by email — or the coach can share it via WhatsApp, text, or any messenger — and open it in their phone's browser. There is no app to install, no account to create, and no password to remember. They can RSVP in one tap directly from the link.
Is RosterPro really free?
Yes. RosterPro is completely free for volunteer coaches and parents. There are no premium tiers, no per-team fees, and no feature gates. We built this for the volunteer coaches who give their time to youth sports and deserve better tools at no cost.
What if parents don't respond to the invite?
RosterPro sends smart reminders automatically via push notifications and email. Parents who haven't responded get a gentle nudge 24 hours before game time. Coaches can also see exactly who hasn't replied and send a one-tap reminder to non-responders — or share the event link directly to WhatsApp or text.
Does RosterPro work for cricket?
Yes. RosterPro fully supports cricket along with soccer, basketball, baseball, football, hockey, and other youth sports. Cricket teams can manage match schedules, track RSVPs, and coordinate parents just like any other sport on the platform.
Is my team's data private?
Yes. Your team's data is private and only visible to coaches and parents on the roster. We do not sell data to third parties, display ads, or share parent contact information. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
How is RosterPro different from TeamSnap?
RosterPro is built specifically for volunteer coaches who need one thing: reliable RSVPs. Unlike TeamSnap, there are no paid tiers, no complex admin dashboards, and no app download required for parents. Magic links replace passwords, making parent onboarding instant.
Can I manage multiple teams?
Yes. Coaches can create and manage multiple teams from a single account. Each team has its own roster, schedule, and RSVP tracking. Switching between teams takes one tap, so coaches who volunteer across age groups or sports can stay organized easily.
What notification channels are supported?
RosterPro sends automatic reminders via push notifications and email. Parents choose their preferred channel during onboarding. Coaches can also share event invites directly to WhatsApp, text, or any messenger. Smart reminders go out automatically before events, and coaches can send manual nudges to parents who haven't responded yet.
What devices does RosterPro work on?
RosterPro works on iPhone (iOS) and any web browser. Coaches and parents can access everything from their phone or computer. The iOS app is currently available through our Founding Coaches program — request early access here. Android support is coming soon.
